The Imposter Orkater / Ada Ozdogan
A courtroom. Renowned film director Donna is brought before the court. While her groundbreaking work 'that captures the zeitgeist so well' is full of progressive and unifying ideas, she herself is suspected of authoritarian behavior and creating a toxic work environment. Her accusers are her actors, with facts that are about to expire.
In her films, Donna uses a documentary style in which fact and fiction merge. Now she chooses to allow the press and their cameras into the courtroom: she wants everything to be recorded because she has no secrets.
An exciting game unfolds, with footage used as evidence by both sides. Reality blurs as scenes from the courtroom merge into scenes from her films. Is the judge watching a trial here, or has she become part of the making of Donna's latest film?
