About Softcult

Grunge, shoegaze, dreampop and punk come together in the gritty yet dreamy sound of Softcult. The Canadian duo, centered around twin sisters Phoenix and Mercedes Arn-Horn, pairs heavy guitars and floating vocals with songs about social inequality and self-discovery. Inspired by both the riot grrrl movement and bands like My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive and Deftones, Softcult has grown in recent years into one of the most exciting names within the new shoegaze wave.
