Sietepè: Gabriel Ríos, Augusto Bracho, Ruben Samama
Sietepè brings together Gabriel Rios, Augusto Bracho and Ruben Samama around their love for Spanish-language music and Latin American songwriting. Tradition and contemporary influences come together.
Sietepè is the new collaborative project of Gabriel Ríos, Augusto Bracho and producer/musician Ruben Samama. What started as a shared fascination for Spanish-language music and Latin American songwriting grew over the past few years into a plan to make a new album together. That the musical connection is there was recently proven during a successful tour by Ríos and Bracho, which drew full Dutch venues. The origin of Sietepè lies in the musical direction that Gabriel Ríos has taken in recent years with his albums Flore and Playa negra: more intimate, Spanish-language work in which traditional Latin American influences are approached from a contemporary perspective. In his collaboration with Ruben Samama, a shared appreciation for the work of Augusto Bracho also grew. Those lines now come together in Sietepè. For the first time, Ríos, Bracho and Samama are touring as a trio. Line-up: Gabriel Ríos - vocals, guitar Augusto Bracho - vocals, guitar Ruben Samama - vocals, guitar
