Regional finals of the Classical Competition

During this regional final of the 2027 Classical Competition, promising young musicians from the region present themselves to the audience and jury. These musicians are between 12 and 21 years old. Soloists, duos, and ensembles present a varied program full of musicality, ambition, and passion. This edition is special because the Princess Christina Competition celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2027. Therefore, the competition is dedicated to a festive anniversary edition featuring a performance during the intermission. You will experience an inspiring afternoon and discover contemporary musical talents on stage.

About the Princess Christina Competition

The Princess Christina Competition believes in the power of music and encourages children and young people in their musical development. With competitions, a mobile concert hall (the Classic Express), and The Music Competition for the Very Young, the Princess Christina Competition is a leading platform for music education and talent development. The Classical Competition is the largest and most well-known competition of the PCC. Young musicians aged 12 to 19 (singers up to 21) can participate. The competition consists of five regional selections spread across the country, a national semi-final, and a final. Participants have the opportunity to gain stage experience. They receive feedback on their playing and have a chance to win prizes that promote their artistic development, such as masterclasses, concert tickets, or a performance as a soloist with an orchestra.
