During the Meespeeldag, Rotterdam children’s orchestras from the Rotterdam Youth Symphony Orchestra and SKVR, as well as the Melodymakers of Zangexpress, take the stage. Concerts take place at 13:00 and 15:00. Around these performances, children can participate in musical activities such as the Instrument Parade and Orchestra Explorer, in collaboration with SKVR, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, TOON Rotterdam and Zangexpress.
Programme
At 13:00 and 15:00, the children’s orchestras perform concerts in the Jurriaanse Hall.
Doors open at 12:00, and the foyers are accessible from that time.
Before and after the concerts, various musical activities are organised by SKVR, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, TOON Rotterdam and Zangexpress.
