New Store Hair Salon

New Store Hair Salon is back – book a haircut and donate your hair! Get your hair cut in the foyer of the Nieuwe Instituut during Black Achievement Month. All hair types are welcome, provided it is at least 3 cm long. Your hair will be processed into yarn that can be used in all kinds of textiles, a project by Human Material Loop in collaboration with local hairdressers. With New Store, the Nieuwe Instituut is looking at the store of the future in a new way. Can a store contribute to a healthy planet, instead of using up raw materials and depleting nature?
