Moss continues to reinvent itself. The Dutch band fronted by Marien Dorleijn has been moving between warm indie pop, electronica, and krautrock for years, with strong melodies as a constant factor. On the new album, Lost in Motion, the band once again charts its own course. This time, it revolves around aging, changing, and yet continuing to look ahead. It is about what disappears along the way, but also what remains: love, connection, and the idea that there is always something to be gained. Doubt and alienation are given just as much space as the search for stability. With Lost in Motion, Moss comes to Rotown on April 25.
