Melina was born into a family where the oral transmission of traditional music holds a central place. Of Greek origin, she carries this heritage through her voice, rich in melismatic ornamentation and emotional depth. It also inspired her to learn to play the oud and to delve deeper into the ancient history of Greek music.

After this period of research and learning, Melina launched her own musical project: a poetic, urban, and magical universe, where traditional music blends with pop influences. Her self-titled debut EP already shows what she is capable of, so it comes as no surprise that she is predicted to have a bright future ahead of her. Because, as her name suggests, Melina will stick around for a long time, like deliciously sweet honey.
