How do I feel? Sometimes like a dripping rapper. Sometimes red as fire, sometimes a cactus in a field of flowers. Sometimes I want everything at once: laughing, crying, chocolate, sleeping, singing, gaming.
Let’s Flow is a musical, physical and moving performance about what happens in your body when you bleed and flow, and what happens when that can no longer remain a secret. Because how do you live in a world that teaches you to be silent about what you feel?
What do you do when it becomes too full inside and you feel that you must move, must sing, must flow?
Five performers sing, dance and play themselves free, each with a different body and perspective. Together they explore what bleeding, blooming and changing mean, also for those who do not bleed but do want to understand or are simply curious.
With songs for every feeling that rushes by, until even the quietest toilet cubicle overflows with sounds. Is that a gigantic choir coming from that toilet bowl while you thought you were alone?
Let’s Flow is an ode to life, our cycle and to everything that keeps coming back.
For everyone who menstruates, is going to, or was ever born.
