Koreaanse Kookworkshop - VER VAN HIER

Get to know Korean cuisine during this fun cooking workshop! Together with Mi Jung Kim from Koreanica, you will get to work preparing a delicious Korean meal for everyone.

Discover the flavours of kimbap, tteokbokki, hobak jeon, kimchi, bibimbap and japchae. You don't need to be an experienced cook: everyone can join in!

Please note: - If you participate in this workshop, you will not be able to attend the performance Home by Bai Li. - In this cooking workshop, you will prepare a Korean meal together, which you will then eat with each other. Dinner is included with the workshop, so you do not need to buy a separate dinner ticket!

About VER VAN HIER VER VAN HIER is a cultural stage about adoption, in which the stories, experiences and perspectives of adoptees take centre stage. From 27 to 29 November, Studio de Bakkerij in Rotterdam brings makers, artists and audiences together for a weekend full of theatre, music and other art forms.

The programme provides space for stories that are still heard too little within society and the cultural field. Drawing on their own experiences, makers explore what adoption means for identity, origin, family, memories and the feeling of belonging somewhere. This creates space for different perspectives, recognition and encounter.
