In the heart of Africa's Great Rift Valley lies Katavi, a national park in western Tanzania. Here, lions, hippos, and crocodiles live in a precarious balance—until an extreme drought transforms the landscape into a battleground. Hunger, thirst, and danger push each species to its limits. While young crocodiles struggle to hatch and lion cubs are threatened by a predatory intruder, the mighty hippos also fight for the last of the water. When the rain finally falls, it means salvation for some—and ruin for others. In Katavi, we see how climate change is putting our world on edge. Come see this film at the Molenwei!
