Jean-Clair de Ruwe uses drums to tell stories. He sculpts time with his drumsticks and intuition. After his studies at the Utrechts Conservatorium, Jean-Clair deepened his knowledge in New York. There, he studied with jazz legends Rodney Green, Kenny Washington and Billy Hart. Jean-Clair combines classical jazz with an innovative approach.
