GOOD FOOD #3 How farming brings us back to life
How new forms of agriculture are bringing life back to the countryside and the city
The countryside is emptying out and agriculture is becoming increasingly large-scale. At the same time, the movement towards agriculture that strengthens nature, health and communities is growing. New forms of food production are also emerging in the city, from food gardens to food forests. During this third GOOD FOOD evening, in conjunction with the exhibition at the Nederlands Fotomuseum, Ruud Sies and Hanneke van Hintum from Good Food | Resilience Food Stories will talk about inspiring farms worldwide where healthy, nature-friendly food is produced and the community around the farm is strengthened. With contributions from Michiel Korthals on the future of our food system, Eline Veninga on regenerative community farms, Tineke van der Burg on the connecting power of Voedseltuin Rotterdam and Cornelis Mosselman on regenerative agriculture. Paul de Graaf will highlight the role of governments in urban agriculture. The evening will be moderated by Rachelle Eerhart.
