Fay Claassen & Koosje
Singers Fay Claassen and Koosje join forces with Get Happy! Expect surprising interpretations of well-known songs, original repertoire, quiet duets and power songs.
The musical connection between Fay Claassen and Koosje was immediately palpable during their first joint performance. On 10 May 2025, four-time Edison Jazz winner Fay Claassen presented the Rabo So Who’s Next Talent Award to Koosje. During that evening, they sang two surprising duets. It left them wanting more and led to the joint tour Get Happy!, inspired by the famous duet by Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand, which they will naturally be performing tonight.
During this tour, Fay and Koosje will perform their own songs and personal interpretations of well-known songs, including work by The Beatles. Jazz, pop, and other genres flow together in an evening full of improvisation, humour, charisma, and musical surprises. Fay Claassen is an internationally renowned jazz singer, four-time Edison winner, and known from, among others, North Sea Jazz and Beste Zangers. Koosje is a versatile singer, multi-instrumentalist, and composer with a warm, crystal-clear voice. Together, they create a special musical encounter in which their different backgrounds, shared passion, and chemistry come together.
