Bookclub010 Extravaganza op het ss Rotterdam

On Sunday, November 1, the ss Rotterdam, together with Bookclub010, is organizing a relaxed afternoon full of books, stories, and literature.

Bring your favorite book and settle down in the atmospheric Ambassador Lounge, the ship's former nightclub. The afternoon begins with a reading by Bookclub010's resident poet. Afterwards, it is time to read together in peace and quiet.

After the shared reading time, you can choose how to spend the rest of the afternoon. Continue reading at your own pace, participate in literary games, or join a special guided tour of the literary treasures of the SS Rotterdam. Along the way, you will discover artworks that reference great names from world literature, such as Homer, Ovid, William Shakespeare, Erasmus, and La Fontaine.

The afternoon concludes with an enjoyable literary quiz, hosted by Willem-Jan Stouthart.

Doors open from 13:00 to 13:30, and the program runs until approximately 16:00. A ticket costs €27.50 per person and includes coffee, tea, and water. Other drinks and snacks are available during the event.
