Boeklancering - Doppelgänger

In his work, Esper Postma reveals the hidden doppelgangers of buildings, monuments, and artifacts, and invites you to an evening of performance-lectures on the occasion of the launch of his publication Doppelgänger.

The city is full of symbols: buildings and monuments that convincingly remind us of who we are, what our history is, and who we are supposed to honor. But these objects are less immutable than they seem. Esper Postma breathes life into the dormant side of their identity, the qualities they prefer not to show. His work reveals that every building, monument, and artifact has a doppelganger: an inner alter ego that demands attention.

Join us for an evening of performance-lectures and presentations by Jasmijn Visser , Sebastián Diaz Morales and Esper Postma , marking the launch of Postma's first major publication: Doppelgänger, designed by mainstudio/ Edwin van Gelder .
