Beyond Borders - Raising Awareness for Kurdish Rights

About the event

On Sunday, March 1st, OASE welcomes the Montium Association for *Beyond Borders* for an afternoon of dialogue, awareness, and solidarity. This event brings together the situations in Rojava and Rojhelat. Through expert presentations, a panel discussion, and time for questions, the organizers aim to deepen understanding and create meaningful connections.

Program

The program is divided into four parts. It begins with a welcome and introduction by Montium and participating charities. This is followed by four presentations on Rojava, Rojhelat, and the broader regional dynamics. This is followed by a panel discussion connecting the two contexts. The afternoon concludes with a public question-and-answer session.

Goal of the afternoon

With this event, the organizers hope to create a space for dialogue and solidarity between communities in the Netherlands. The goal is to foster open, thoughtful, and grounded connections. The afternoon is a fundraising and outreach event. Contribute to a better future for the Kurdish community.
