Beatlemania

The Beatles have had a major influence on the musical development of Rotterdam-based saxophonist Jesse Schilderink. A long-cherished wish of his was therefore to perform the Beatles repertoire instrumentally. Together with drummer Jens Meijer and bassist Marijn van de Ven, he pays tribute to the four pioneers from Liverpool with Beatlemania, by playing well-known and lesser-known tracks by The Beatles in surprising arrangements. Jesse Schilderink (1995) is a Rotterdam-based saxophonist and composer, mainly active in the instrumental and improvised music scene.
