After eight years, a healthy dose of catchy hooks, and plenty of energetic shows, the Rotterdam pop-punk band After Elmer is calling it quits. But not before giving it their all one last time. On December 17, the band bids farewell with a final show at Rotown.

After Elmer gives the pop-punk of the 2000s a fresh, contemporary twist. Think catchy melodies, solid riffs, and lyrics that look beyond broken hearts and teenage woes. On farewell EP Are You Happy Yet?, the band settles accounts with everything that can seriously stand in the way of our happiness: jealousy, the expectations of others, veiled criticism, and the endless stream of advice and stimuli that comes in daily via our phones.

In Rotown, everything comes together for the last time. A final night of jumping, singing along, and saying goodbye to a band that stood firmly rooted in the Rotterdam music scene for eight years. And hopefully, after the final note, After Elmer can answer the question "Are You Happy Yet?" with a resounding yes.

IVYVOX warms up the room with hyper-energetic pop-punk full of catchy hooks and a healthy dose of 2000s nostalgia. The band previously played at Popronde and became a crowd favorite during the Pinguin Radio Showcases at ESNS.
