St. Lambert's Church

The Sint-Lambertus Church is a Roman Catholic church in Rotterdam-Kralingen.

The Lambertus Church is located on the corner of Beneden Oostzeedijk and Hoflaan. It was designed in neo-Gothic style by Evert Margry, a student of PJH Cuypers, and built in the period 1875-1878. The church was dedicated to Saint Lambertus, the patron saint of Kralingen, on June 26, 1878.

Originally, the interior of the church was kept simple, but in 1900 the church received a new organ from the well-known organ builder Michaël Maarschalkerweerd. In 1903, the interior of the church was decorated with polychrome paintings. The side aisles were expanded in the 1920s.
