Sailing ship Eendracht is the Netherlands' largest gaff topsail schooner, also known as a three-masted schooner, and is especially aimed at young people, but everyone can join!
For everyone!
Special sailing trips, internships and training trips are organized for young people and students, but also for people who are in danger of being left out. Day trips are accessible to everyone, no experience is required. These are active sailing days to and at sea, where help with sailing or (briefly) while steering is available without obligation. The trips include lunch and a final Captain's dinner.
Companies and groups can rent the ship for a private or multi-day trip or during an event such as the World Port Days. On a trip at sea or on the river, a maximum of 110 guests can participate, while at a reception on shore there is room for a maximum of 150 guests. The available period to rent the Eendracht is from April to October, periods outside this period in consultation.
The ship is almost 60 meters long, 13 meters wide and 5 meters deep. The Eendracht falls into the A-class ships, also known as Tall Ships. The ship was built to go to sea with inexperienced (young) people. Safety comes first, for example, there is no need to climb the masts. All sailing operations take place from the deck.
