Workshop Kalligrafie
Letters. We use them every day. But how do they actually get their shape? And why are exactly those types of letters on the briefcase for Prinsjesdag? In this workshop, we dive into the world of calligraphy: the art of beautiful writing.
By writing letters, you learn about what letters look like. By playing with different ways of writing, you see how the shape changes and with it the character of the letters. A letter can be graceful or business-like. Elegant or a little scary.
Come and join in and dive into this wonderful world while creating.
About the workshop leader
From an early age, Hans Schuttenbeld was fascinated by the infinite scope for play in creating letterforms. This is how he came into contact with calligraphy. In this workshop, he is happy to share his enthusiasm and the knowledge and skills he has acquired in this craft.
All dates
From 24 October Until 19 December
