During the autumn holidays on Wednesday afternoon, October 21, Podium Islemunda, in collaboration with Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam, will screen 2 new short nature films from the Netherlands. Kinderboerderij De Kooi and director Jura Bakx will also be present during these screenings. Jura Bakx is the creator of the film An elephant in the room and she will engage in a playful conversation with children about this film. This is how we bring nature a little closer for young and old! Prior to the screenings, we will go in search of small creatures together with Stadskinderboerdeij De Kooi. With a search card and magnifying glass, you will be helped by volunteers from Kinderboerderij De Kooi to track down small creatures in bins of soil brought along by the petting zoo. Think of woodlice, earwigs, earthworms, and much more.
