Von Hände zum Herz

The hands of Matthias Dreißig make the German heart of the Maarschalkerweerd organ beat. He touches you right in the heart with his music. Do you dare?

After the passionate playing of Professor Matthias Dreißig, teacher at the conservatory in Weimar, Germany, you will go home full of energy. He knows better than anyone how to evoke the original German feeling in the Maarschalkerweerd organ: full, round and deep. He plays works by a number of very great German composers, such as Bach and Mendelssohn. Music that leaves no one unmoved in the beautiful acoustics of the richly decorated, neo-Gothic St. Lambertus Church.
