Ten years ago, Vers Beton published the book 'Help! We are popular'. Rotterdam was undergoing a major transformation at the time. The city was attracting more and more tourists. During this evening at BAR OMI, we explore how Rotterdam has changed. How do residents, young and old, experience this transformation? Through film clips, photos, and personal stories, you will get a picture of the new Rotterdam. Previously, the city was difficult for outsiders to understand, known as an idiosyncratic cultural outsider. The city has transformed this image. Rotterdam now has much to offer in terms of culture and leisure.
