In the late 1970s, Satish Bhaskar travelled along the east and west coasts of India and the spectacular Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Of all the things he saw, his favourite were the Leatherback sea turtles. Satish’s life is a series of extraordinary adventures and a collection of rare stories about these mysterious ocean dwellers. He has dedicated his life to saving these special animals from extinction. In 2004, the Indian Ocean tsunami hits and wreaks havoc on the islands. Bhaskar’s search intensifies. He must answer an important question: what happens to the sea turtles when their beaches disappear?
