Sawasdee! This spring, the Thaise Culturele Markt brings the atmosphere of Thailand to the Schouwburgplein. In honor of Songkran – the Thai New Year – the square transforms into an Asian arena. Along the edges, you will find thirty varied tents with handmade art, clothing, and massages. In the middle is the catering square with picnic tables, where you can enjoy authentic Thai street food from various entrepreneurs. Live music, traditional dance, and Muay Thai The central terrace is surrounded by culture thanks to a stage on the square. Enjoy live music, traditional Thai sounds, and atmospheric performances all day long. Admire the elegant dances and experience the Songkran blessing. There are also dynamic Muay Thai demonstrations. An accessible, musical, and free outing for the whole family!
