The RAUW Festival descends on BIRD and presents an evening full of adventurous and boundary-pushing music. For three days, Rotterdam is dedicated to diverse sounds, ranging from jazz and electronica to neo-soul, improvisation and genres that are difficult to define. This Saturday evening at BIRD promises to be a voyage of discovery with acts that each colour outside the musical lines in their own way.

Kessoncoda from the United Kingdom combines jazz, electronica and minimalist compositions into a hypnotising sound. Improvisation and rhythm play an important role in this. Next, the Belgian saxophonist Mattias De Craene and the Moroccan collective Black Koyo bring two musical worlds together. This encounter guarantees experimental jazz, electronica and the energy of Gnawa. Diana Sidibè moves between soul, jazz, pop and West African influences. Her music is characterised by warm grooves and a quirky, contemporary sound. The RAUW Festival focuses on artists who break open genres and seek new connections.
