Ma'MaQueen has created a safe haven for her six drag children, who can't all count on the understanding of their biological relatives at home. Rejection from their family leads to personal problems and a negative self-image. Being in drag helps them temporarily forget all this. The turbulent search for identity and acceptance in a society where boxing is the norm isn't easy in this documentary. Under Mama's wing, they feel safe and seen. Together they find support, security, and a home where fantasy becomes reality.
