The Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century presents Handel's Messiah in the arrangement by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In this version, the famous oratorio takes on a different timbre, in which the Baroque lines are enriched with a classical orchestral palette. Mozart's arrangement retains the directness and expressiveness of Handel's music, but adds extra contrast and transparency.
