NSRT bij Het Witte Paard met Jeroen van Vliet MoonTrio

A top trio that only plays in large venues such as Tivoli, Bimhuis, Lantaren/Venster etc. You really can't get any better than this.

The music of pianist Jeroen van Vliet, winner of the Buma Boy Edgar Prize 2014, is personal, recognizable and expressive. Often in small ensembles, including the Moon Trio, he generates music with great intensity and intimacy, in which the synergy with the other players is tangible.

The MoonTrio, with Mark Schilders on drums and Cord Heineking on bass, was founded in 2015 and released the CD Earth-Time on the German label JazzHaus in 2016. The album Monochromes was released independently in the middle of the covid period. The piano and bass are expanded and upgraded in the trio by means of electronics. The music is expressive, simple and spatial in design. Freedom, interaction and a rich sound are a common thread throughout the repertoire.
