North Sea Round Town: voor én door de stad

At the beginning of the summer, Rotterdam gets into the jazz mood with the 17th edition of fringe festival North Sea Rond Town: hundreds of concerts full of jazz, blues, soul, funk, electronic and hip hop at various locations throughout the city. the festival will take place from June 27 to July 14, 2024.

The performances take place at a wide variety of indoor and outdoor locations. From living rooms and parks to restaurants and stages including BIRD, Jazzcafé Dizzy, LantarenVenster, Rotown and Central Station. Expect a mix of intimate concerts, masterclasses, seemingly coincidental jam sessions, exhibitions, exuberant shows and afterparties.

North Sea Round Town also returns to the Cape for an evening dedicated to one of the many cultures that Rotterdam has to offer. In recent years, Vernon Chatlein (Curaçao), Ronald Snijders (Suriname) and Paulo Bouwman (Cape Verde) led us through stories, traditional music and food.
