Mahler 2 is a symphony about life, death and resurrection, in which quiet moments and large-scale orchestral outbursts alternate. From the whispering strings at the beginning to the mighty final chorus, a work full of contrasts and emotional depth.

The Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra is a versatile top orchestra that combines grand symphonic repertoire with world-class opera productions. As the house orchestra of the Dutch National Opera, it plays a key role in Dutch musical life. Led by chief conductor Lorenzo Viotti, the orchestra works with soloists and conductors of international fame.
Laurens Symphonic
Laurens Symfonisch is the largest choir of Laurens Vocaal and performs large-scale classical works, often together with professional orchestras and soloists. The choir is led by Wiecher Mandemaker and regularly performs in De Doelen and other large halls.
Nikola Hillebrand
Nikola Hillebrand is a German soprano who has made an international name for herself with her clear voice, technical precision and versatile repertoire. She is a regular guest at major opera houses and festivals, and collaborates with renowned conductors and orchestras. In addition to opera, she also sings lieder and oratorios.
Marina Viotti
Marina Viotti is a Swiss-French mezzo-soprano with a distinctively expressive stage presence and a wide repertoire. She sings bel canto and romantic opera repertoire as well as chanson and metal crossovers. Viotti performs at leading opera houses and festivals and also enjoys collaborating in multidisciplinary projects.
