Celebrate with us the International Day of Music - Fête de la Musique! Created in 1982 by former French Minister of Culture Jack Lang, Fête de la Musique is an annual music festival that invites musicians, amateurs and professionals, to perform in public spaces. Today, Fête de la Musique is celebrated in more than 120 countries.
The Alliance Française Rotterdam is organizing an open mic for amateur musicians as part of the upcoming Fête de la Musique. Whether you play solo or in a group, all styles of music are welcome!
Are you interested in performing?
Registration is free and open to everyone. We provide a backline, 2 microphones, 2 microphone stands and a mixing desk. Bring your own instruments.
Performers will have 15 minutes on stage. We will schedule a 5 minute break between each performance to give you time to line up, vote...
To register, send an email to culture@alliancerotterdam.nl with a short presentation of your performance and possibly a video. Registration is possible until May 25th. At the end of the selections, 6 artists/groups will be chosen and the successful candidates will be notified on May 26th, 2025.
