Lancering van de 1st Meeting of the Legendaries bij Kunstinstituut Melly

On the occasion of Open Monument Day, we present the 1st Meeting of the Legendaries by artist Cinthia Marcelle on Saturday, September 12, as part of her ongoing project The Legendaries for the exhibition Draw, Withdraw, Redraw. The Legendaries originated in 2008 from Cinthia's research into the people, memories, and relationships that shape a public cultural institution. The project focuses on individuals who are often absent from official historical accounts but are of great significance to the development and continuity of institutions. For this edition, Cinthia brings together fourteen people who have been connected to Kunstinstituut Melly in various ways over the past 36 years: from staff members, artists, and curators to board members, technicians, and visitors.
