When Lahav Shani became chief conductor in Rotterdam, we suddenly gained a world-class piano soloist and ensemble player. His chamber music with musicians from our own orchestra – and, in her season as Artist in Residence, with Chen Reiss – sparkled with pure playing pleasure every time. In the weekend of Lahav's farewell, we will fill one more evening with as much of that beauty as possible. Not to be missed.
