Next up is the main feature: 'La Cosa en la Niebla' ('The Thing in the Fog'), winner of Best Feature at BUTFF 2026. This horror comedy takes place in a single location and shows that you don't need a big budget to create a complete universe. Ismael and Daniela are trapped in an increasingly strange space. They encounter inexplicable signals, absurd choices, and an external threat: the Audreys. These aliens could endanger all of humanity. With a B-movie atmosphere and dark humor, 'La Cosa en la Niebla' transforms the cockpit into a cosmos of its own. The absurd, the cosmic, and the human converge as the threat of the Audreys becomes inevitable. The film is compact in form but grand in imagination. Two unlikely individuals must bear the fate of humanity.
