Kult Funktion Cafe

Kult Funktion Café brings POING Agency, KLAUW and Kult Funktion together at Mamarazzi in Rotterdam. An evening with an open Q&A, music and meeting the people behind the nightlife. Who builds the places where we come together? How does an idea grow into its own platform? And what is needed to keep supporting that? For this first edition, Mark from POING Agency, known for the POING parties and the opening of SHUNTER, Mijntje from KLAUW and Juliana X, DJ and founder of Kult Funktion, will join us. Led by moderator Shearey Pinas, they will talk about cultural entrepreneurship, fundraising and community. About making space, finding allies and the choices involved in building an independent scene. With Kult Funktion Café, we are temporarily taking over a café for conversations that rarely fit on a crowded dance floor. Here, makers, organisers and visitors exchange experiences and new connections are formed. Whether you organise something yourself, are walking around with an initial idea or are just curious: join us. Your questions and experiences are part of it. Bonnie McCray and Gisza will provide the music! Thursday 26 November Mamarazzi · Witte de Withstraat 88B, Rotterdam
