Every 3rd Sunday of the month there is a jazz matinee at Het Witte Paard. With relevant artists and big names in the intimate theater hall of Het Witte Paard.
Originally from London, Barry Green swapped England for the Netherlands in 2020 and has since divided his time between London and Rotterdam. As a much sought-after jazz pianist, he has played with legends such as Dick Oats, Chris Cheek and Gerald Cleaver. Together with Stefan Lievestro and Ruud Voesten, he forms the Rotterdam rhythm section.
For the concert at the Witte Paard they invited the Argentinian guitarist/composer Guillermo Celano, who has been an important figure in the Amsterdam scene for more than fifteen years.
He is a much sought-after guitarist, received the prestigious North Sea Jazz composition commission in 2013, programmed for the BimLabs sessions at the Bimhuis and has contributed as a guitarist and producer to more than 35 albums.
