Inlooprondleiding door Het Natuurhistorisch

Every Saturday at 1:30 PM, there is a walk-in tour of the museum. The guide takes young and old through the exhibition halls and tells stories about the rich collection of the Natural History Museum.

Burning questions such as 'Why does that elephant skeleton stink?', 'Did that city fox really eat shawarma?' and 'Why is the rhinoceros horn green?' are answered.

Every tour guide knows hidden stories behind the collection, for example about Piku the orangutan who always sat with his back to the public at Blijdorp Zoo, or about the schoolbag of the obsessed whale expert Anton van Deinse, which is made of...

The walk-in tours start at 1:30 PM and last approximately 45 minutes. Free with a valid museum admission ticket.
