Il Pomo d'Oro is a baroque orchestra that excels in historically informed performances of opera, orchestral and chamber music from the 17th and 18th centuries. The ensemble combines musical virtuosity with expressive freedom and collaborates with leading soloists and conductors. In addition to their artistic projects, Il Pomo d'Oro is also committed to education and social impact through the Harmony of Humanity program.
Anna Prohaska
Anna Prohaska is an Austrian soprano who made her debut at the age of 20 at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, where she remains a member of the ensemble. She is a versatile singer with a wide repertoire ranging from Monteverdi to contemporary premieres. She has performed in major opera houses and concert halls worldwide, worked with top conductors such as Barenboim and Abbado, and makes acclaimed recordings with Deutsche Grammophon.
