Films, Talks and In-depth Study
Films are a must-see during IFFR. The Jurriaanse Hall and the Willem Burger Hall will feature films from around the world throughout the festival. Be sure to check out the IFFR program from AZ for more information.
Panel Talks will also be held in the Willem Burger Hall, Van Cappellen Hall, and Studio 8. IFFR's Talks program offers space for reflection and dialogue about film in a broader cultural and social context. Big Talks and Tiger Talks featuring prominent film and cultural figures will take place at De Doelen and other festival venues. Topics range from feminism and colonialism to queer culture and cinematic practice. International directors and cinematographers will share their perspectives and experiences with the audience.
As mentioned, De Doelen is the heart of the festival. Keep an eye on the IFFR program and know that you can walk into De Doelen during the festival.
