Home Alone in Concert
Home Alone in Concert brings the ultimate Christmas classic back to the big screen with live orchestra and choir This Christmas, Cinema in Concert brings one of the most beloved Christmas films of all time back to the stage: Home Alone in Concert. During this festive production, the entire film will be shown on a big screen, while the music is performed by no fewer than 120 musicians from the Noordpool Orkest and the choir Nieuw Vocaal Amsterdam. They will play the iconic music by five-time Academy Award® winner John Williams live, perfectly synchronized with the film.
Since its premiere in 1990, Home Alone has grown into a global Christmas tradition. The film tells the hilarious and heartwarming story of eight-year-old Kevin McCallister, who is accidentally left home alone when his family leaves for Christmas vacation. While Kevin enjoys his unexpected freedom, he must defend his house against two clumsy burglars. The result is a timeless family film full of humor, adventure, and Christmas spirit.
An indispensable part of the film's success is the enchanting music by John Williams. His playful, moving, and festive score forms the musical heart of the film and is performed entirely live during Home Alone in Concert by the Noordpool Orkest and choir Nieuw Vocaal Amsterdam. This brings the magic of the film to life more intensely than ever.
Home Alone in Concert is presented around the 2026 holidays and is the perfect Christmas outing for families, film lovers, and anyone who wants to relive the magic of Christmas.
