EXPERIENCE “HEARTSYNC” by Nino Basilashvili (Immersive Installation & Research)

Can our hearts truly synchronize? Come find out.

HEARTSYNC is a guided sensory journey for 10 participants at a time, exploring how breath and rhythm can unite us. Through sound and breathwork, individual heartbeats begin to align—reflected in mesmerizing light patterns on the floor that shift, merge, and evolve as the group connects.

This immersive experience invites you to feel your own heartbeat, witness others’, and discover what it truly means to be in sync—physiologically and emotionally.

Created by Nino Basilashvili, HEARTSYNC merges science, art, and presence into a powerful moment of collective awareness.

After each session, participants are invited to take part in a short survey as part of a research collaboration with the Medical Delta Research Group (Erasmus MC, Codarts, Erasmus University & Leiden University).

AccessibilityAs an organisation, we highly value accessibility and inclusivity. Because the KATOENHUIS is a heritage building in transition, unfortunately not all areas are currently as accessible as we would like. The ground floor is fully accessible, but the first floor can only be reached via stairs. However, there is still plenty to see and experience on the ground floor. We are happy to share this information in advance to avoid any possible disappointment.
