Green Musketeer follows the inspiring mission of inventor Pieter Hoff, who wants to plant one trillion trees on degraded lands worldwide with his 'smart buckets'. From China to Mexico, he fights climate change, drought and hunger. Despite a terminal cancer diagnosis, Pieter remains tireless. After his death in 2021, his son Wout continues his work, culminating in a trip to Nigeria for the Great Green Wall. This documentary is a moving portrait of hope, determination and the power of a visionary who shows how one person can make a difference for the planet.
