GOOD FOOD #2
How a completely different and innovative approach to local food systems can contribute to healthy and sustainable urban communities
We all know that things need to change. That our current ways of living are often unhealthy and unsustainable. That we are nowhere near the CO2 reduction path agreed upon during the 2015 climate summit in Paris. A little bit different is no longer enough; the question is: how can it be transformatively, truly different? This question is central to this second programme evening about the exhibition Good Food (Nederlands Fotomuseum) at the Keilepand. We ask ourselves: how can we approach things so differently in our cities that we set up broad and integrated partnerships with our initiatives, projects, and programmes that turn the tide on multiple social themes? On this evening, we will listen to and engage in conversation with the speakers below: On this evening, we will listen to and engage in conversation with Ruud Sies and Hanneke van Hintum (Good Food | Resilience Food Stories), Carolyn Steel (author of Hungry City and Sitopia), Vikash Abraham (Urban Farms Co), Folkert van Hagen (GroupA / Gebiedscoöperatie M4H Keilekwartier), Floris Visser (Public Food / MensaMensa) and Anja Jongejan (Buijtenland van Rhoon). Derk Loorbach (DRIFT) will conclude the evening. The moderation is in the hands of Rachelle Eerhart (RotterdamsOmmelan)
