the Gitaarsalon sets up shop in the Batavierhuis with a monthly

concert series entirely dedicated to the guitar.

For over 25 years, the Gitaarsalon has been a household name in the Netherlands, with a gigantic

Guitar festival at the Zuiderzee Museum and two concert series in Enkhuizen.

There is every last Sunday of the month (subject to change) in

in the afternoon, a beautiful guitar concert to admire in the Batavierhuis.

Curious about what the guitar has to offer, and who the new

who are promising talents in the Dutch guitar world? Then come and listen and

to look.

This edition is a show to honor the rich world of Argentine music. Here we can discover the latent heart of Argentine culture, consisting of traditional songs and folk rhythms such as the zamba and the chacarera. Milongas of all colors complete the repertoire and take us between urban and rural landscapes, showing why this is the 'mother rhythm' of the tango.
