GIRLS WON’T BE GIRLS is a farewell to the ideas you had about femininity. In a world full of boxes, labels and glass ceilings, you will discover new perspectives. This performance focuses on a dynamic mix of people. They show you that softness gives strength and that connection creates self-confidence. Life does not have to be a competition, because every person is equal.
Personal stories on stage
Well-known artists from various disciplines, such as theatre, music, dance, drag and cabaret, share the stage. Think of names like Nora Akachar, Marleen Hendrickx, hip-hop artist ZULU GREEN, ballet dancer Vincenzo Turiano and actor Thorn de Vries. People from the queer community also show themselves in personal solo performances. Each show has a different composition of artists. Their sincere stories open your heart and refresh your worldview.
