Follow the Rain is a poetic documentary about fungi and their invisible, life-defining role in nature. Filmed over several years in Australia’s most rugged landscapes, the film takes you into the world of zombie fungi, secret networks between trees and fungi, and a ten-year search for a new species. Even their role in making rain is discussed. With an eye for wonder and scientific precision, the film shows how fungi are climate allies, soil renovators and indispensable links in life. An ode to nature and to those who try to understand it.
