Want to be a Marine yourself for a while? You can in our revamped adventure experience, Marines on Mission.

Go on a mission with your team. You will first receive a short explanation of your assignment, also known as a 'briefing'. Then it is up to you to make the mission a success. You will learn what it means to go on a mission as a Marine and what skills you need to possess.

WHAT IS A MISSION?

Marines are sea soldiers who operate on the border of land and water. Dutch marines are sent abroad on behalf of our country to help restore peace or to help prevent conflict. Such a military operation is called a 'mission'. When a marine goes on a mission, it is called a 'deployment'.

TO COLLABORATE

Such a (foreign) mission is sometimes quite dangerous and can therefore entail risks. Furthermore, conditions can vary from country to country. Are they going to the hot jungle, for example, or to the icy cold? This requires very special preparation and training for these marines.

It is also extremely important that they work well together as a team. After all, during all missions, the safety of the Marine and his colleagues naturally comes first! Will you and your team manage to work well together and safely complete the end of the mission?

Please note: for the best experience with Marines on Mission, we use a recommended age of 8+. This is because team members are all assigned roles for which they need the reading level of an 8-year-old.
